We have been running schemes for over 20 years for specific trades.  Insurance is about reassurance – being comfortable with the insurer and the broker.

We run our scheme using two of the UK’s largest insurers – Hiscox and Zurich.

I chose to insure via the S.Johnson & Company Ltd ‘Guncover’ scheme in 2011 having been with my previous insurer for many years.  I felt some concern over this change but the Guncover details seemed tailored for RFD’s.

In October 2012 we suffered a significant break in at our premises.   It was with some trepidation that I made a claim having previously had difficulties with insurance companies.    

The way that the claim was dealt with was like a breath of fresh air.  Response was very fast, settlement was provided promptly and in the right amount.  The result was minimal disruption of my business.  

This is how all insurance claims should be dealt with and I am very happy to recommend the Guncover scheme to other RFD’s.
