Other covers vary between insurers but typically include:
Stock cover includes (in all cases) goods in trust or held for repair or items to be sold on commission.
Proof House Cover - for £50,000 whilst guns are at any UK Proof House facility.
Goods on Approval / Hire – covered as standard for a £3,000 limit. .
Exhibition/Game Fair Cover Briefly: Stock & stands covered whilst at UK Exhibitions/Game Fairs up to £50,000. Transit included. Liabilities extended (see below).
Second Hand / Vintage Goods - are covered within stock sum insured.
Goods In Transit – is automatic with Hiscox only at £50,000 for UK transits and includes cover for your Own Vehicles and transit by hauliers. Separate Marine Transit cover can be arranged for import and export.
Seasonal Increase: the policy provides an automatic 30% increase in respect of stock for the months of November, December 30 days prior to Easter, or any other 3 month period agreed.
Traps - cover for up to £10,000 in the UK.
